Welcome to Death Valley. The views are so much different than the day before.

This is the beginning of a long flat trail which is supposed to get you a few centimeters down to the lowest point in the western hemisphere. Americans are just obsessed with having records. (In all the time I spent close to the dead sea, I never even bothered to check the maps for the exact lowest point, let alone going there...)
